1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Services
We provide web design, development, branding, and related creative services. A written proposal or statement of work defines the deliverables for each engagement.
3. Website Development Process
Projects typically follow: discovery → design → development → review → launch. Client feedback windows are agreed in the proposal; unresponsive periods may shift timelines.
4. Payments
Most engagements require a 50% deposit to reserve your slot, with the balance due before launch. Invoices are payable within 7 days unless stated otherwise.
5. Refund Policy
Deposits are non-refundable once discovery has commenced, as they reserve capacity and cover initial strategy work. Fees for completed milestones are non-refundable.
6. Project Timelines
Timelines are estimates based on prompt feedback and content delivery. Delays caused by outstanding client input may extend the schedule proportionally.
7. Intellectual Property
On full payment, the client owns the final deliverables produced for their project. DC EMPIRE Studio retains rights to preparatory materials and the right to display the completed work in our portfolio.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate brand assets, copy, imagery, credentials, and timely feedback. Third-party licence fees (fonts, stock, plugins) are the client's responsibility unless included in the quote.
9. Confidentiality
We treat all non-public information shared during an engagement as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as needed to deliver the project.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DC EMPIRE Studio's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Warranties
We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes such as revenue or search rankings.
12. Website Usage
You may not use this website to distribute malware, scrape at abusive rates, or attempt to breach security. We may block access at our discretion.
13. Third-Party Services
Our work may integrate third-party tools (hosting, email, analytics, payments). Their terms apply to your use of those services.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Nigeria unless mutually agreed otherwise.
